What’s the best way to clean a lamp shade?

The more I try to brush it off, the dirtier it gets! Help!

    Best way to do it is to vacuum it off. :)

    Dust with a new makeup brush — or use my favorite: a microfiber cloth. For washable shades, fill the bathtub with lukewarm water and add a few drops of a mild liquid laundry soap. Swish the shade around in it, wiping soiled areas from top to bottom with a clean white cotton cloth. Let tub drain, then rinse shade in clean, lukewarm water; blot with an absorbent towel. For fast drying, place the shade in front of a fan.

    use a new paint brush or wrap clear packing tape around your fingers so that the sticky side faces out, this will help get any lent also vacuuming it works great. hope this helps

    I always get a rag damp and brush from top to bottome one section at a time
