I know this has to do with the ballast or balance of the lamp, or something like that. It’s not the bulb. The lamps flicker and won’t fully come on.

What kind of clip lamp do you use to light for the video shooting?

cookie asked:

I was told that if you don’t want to spend a lot of money for lighting equipment when you shoot a video, you can grab some clip lamps at Home Depot to shoot the video.

What kind of clip lamp exactly? More importantly, what kind of light bulb do you use for that purpose? I assume the clip lamp doesn’t come with a light bulb.
